Kisspeptin-10, is a 10-amino-acid peptide fragment of the larger kisspeptin family.
In human research, Kisspeptin-10 has been investigated for its ability to stimulate reproductive-hormone signaling. A clinical study in men found that Kisspeptin-10 boluses stimulated LH secretion, while continuous infusion increased testosterone, LH pulse frequency, and LH pulse size. Other studies have examined gonadotropin release in men and women, as well as potential applications in reproductive-function and fertility research.
